Reception

[edit]

TechRadar gave the Curve 9380 three out of five stars. They liked the smartphone's affordability, "bright, colourful screen", the BlackBerry 7 OS, the design and the light weight. However, they were displeased with the device's instability, low HVGA display resolution, and on-screen keyboard, especially due to it autocorrecting the password field. Their reaction to the Curve's social networking services integration was mixed, as they enjoyed some aspects but were frustrated at others. They said: "we'd rather have the BlackBerry Curve 9360 within the BlackBerry range […] we don't think it's the best option in its price range, and for only a little more money, you could get [a better] handset."[1]
